Is it legal to be charged for a DUI if I had drugs in my car?
I was driving on the freeway when I was pulled over for speeding. The officer was also suspicious that I was high. He asked for me to step out of my vehicle to search my car. He did not provide a search warrant, but I wasnt sure at that time what my rights were. He found marijuana in my car and then charged me with a DUI. I was not high in that moment at all. Can he do this?
