What is the DUI statute of limitations?

I was charged with a DUI after I got in an accident. It was an absolute nightmare. I was put in jail and had to be bailed out afterward. This was almost a month and a half ago. I still have not gotten a court date or any notice from the police or court. What is the statute of limitations for a DUI in California?

One year on a Misdemeanor DUI case. In accident cases a Blood test is normally done. The Sacramento County Crime Lab is taking an unusually long time to do the analysis, which may be the cause of the delay in your case. If your DUI is in another county, then I can't tell you what the source of the delay is.
